True but not every decision he makes is going to hit right with the fans nor can he allow himself to allow that to influence his decision making. He's going to have to balance out building a connection with the fanbase with doing things that he believes will be of benefit to the club overall at the risk of upsetting us. Just wish he hadn't gone that route so soon though!.

Looks like there was some truth in the Abdul rumour, then. Could be a great signing or could be a nightmare, who knows but it does make sense on the cap scenario.

Seen quite a few people ask who would take this job on.
I think it’s an attractive proposition. Basically a blank slate, a big cap available and the knowledge you can’t do much worse!

To be fair though, if Hardaker was to come here and improve things then it would soon blow over. Myler will have to use his connections in the short term to get better players here because we cant throw 210k at every player.

Still id rather it not be Hardaker but dont think its as drastic as you make out, the connection with the fans is well shot. Only winnjng games will improve that.

Still think we will sign another centre, can't go into the season we two centres, look at Rovers they have 4 good centres, who will all be on decent money.

This is Hull FC we are talking about, if we can go into the season with two hookers for half backs, we can go into a season with only two centres!

Yep, Id use a quota spot on a quota Centre and let the other two battle for the other position.
