Harsh if true and not the impression you want to give to potential future signings about the way the club treat their players. Ok, he only played one game, but he still pulled that shirt on and put his body on the line for the team. Anyone can get an ACL injury at any time.

No room for sentiment in sport if you want to achieve success. Players rarely have any loyalty to a club if a better offer comes along, I don't see why the club should act any differently. He'll be in the championship next season.

Think a lot of Hulls home town lads have shown great loyalty, Houghton Shaul Yeamo, Horne, Harrison, Tindall, Crooks, Davo, Crane, and a load more who were just about one club men.

The difference now of course as you say, we’re bound by fiscal policies, and salary cap rules.

They should act differently because he is under contract for another year and got injured playing for us. I would hope the club would stick by him through his rehab and help the bloke out and not just bin him off.

I don't think we're in a position where we can pay a players salary for him not to play if we can avoid it. Our loss will be someone else's gain if he's worth a contract.

Surely there must be some protection on boths insurance wise?If you got injured at work as a direct result of your job, then I'd assume you wouldn't want to have your contract terminated? If he is not in their plans, then help the bloke find a club, don't just terminate his contract because it's an easy get out.

Never been confirmed as far as I'm aware. A while back the HDM said it was done and dusted but never quoted anyone confirming it and they are now just saying he's expected to stay.

Shaul
Faraimo
Tuimavave
Connor
Fonua
Kelly
Sneyd

That would be up there with the best backline in the league.

I’d take a punt on Luke Yates from London. Can cover 13 and prop and can play big minutes.

As good as Ratus played he’s miles away from Fonuas level.

If we had all 3 Fonua and Faraimo have to start.
