Unfortunately, having watched derbies for the best part of 55 years, oh sorry, forgot about the Dobbin’s 15 wilderness years, form really doesn’t count. The underdog usually comes out on top. Some coaches have revelled in them, a la Justin Morgan and most hate them. Radford gets it because he’s a supporter as well. Interesting to see how Smith approaches his first. Personally, I don’t like them and certainly won’t miss them if Dobbins are relegated. I don’t think we need the games as much as them. Hudgell certainly used them as a cash cow for the first 4 home games and that is why I no longer attend KC Dog Crap Park.
