Surely Hull's contract was linked to appearances ?

Or at least fulfilling terms of contract which must include training.

This was clearly, but sadly, the most likely outcome, Wigan didn't wave bye bye until they hadn't explored all options. Joel Tomkins currently a woeful replacement.

We will be tied to that contract, IF he is entitled to full money then blame those who awarded the contract not the recipient.

Remember everybodies surprise at the two year award ?

Personally hope he pulls through, suspect RL is nolonger top of his priorities. Fully agree we need to move on - IMO we need a top class three quarter. We can't challenge top 4 perming any two from Turner, Whiting and Sharp.

usualy does but hes not been able to drive with his injury so dont think he has been.

Judging by his Twitter activity he hasn't been attending games but has been watching the televised matches.

Fair enough if he can't drive though I wouldn't have thought it would be that difficult to get here. I do think that as our club captain the guy should be "at work" doing whatever he can for the team which would include advice , motivation , PR with the fans etc. Not his fault if we've not asked/made him do it but I might have retained a bit more belief if I'd regularly seen Long supporting the team and by that I mean seeing him out on the pitch "with the boys" before games , at a few under 20's games etc. It just sends out a message that his heart was never in it whether that's true or not.

Doesn't turner still live in the wigan area? I thought him, gleeson and long were travelling across together
