I'm starting to wonder if Connor is really going if we're signing fullbacks and halves. Rohan Smith has just referred to Walker as a departure and it appears they're looking to replace him this season.

Canberra do need a fullback now that Nicoll Klokstad has signed with the warriors

Xavier Savage will continue at fullback for them.

They'll go with Savage at full back.

Left field suggestion. If we do sign a fullback for next season why not play Connor as a ball playing LF. His pace will always be questioned at 1,6 or 7. He's big enough for LF.

Bonaire I think the difference is the lads brought in do have a lot more super league experience than litten etc idove to see our young lads put in, but does make sense bringing these 3 in especially if it's a try before you sign.

I like you am scratching my head over Balmforth who I do think is more than ready, surely Hodgson can see Houghtons on the wane, his distribution and attacking threat have evaporated.

The other I'm scratching my head at is Stavely who's also very highly rated, it just seems the obvious spots in the team we have injurys or are lacking in such as hooker and loose forward we have 2 big prospects who seem ready but arnt getting much of a chance.

That's the frustrating part, I think Litten, Barron and a couple of others arnt far off but not quite ready

I think we might have seen them had we been in good form and able to rest players with a nearly fully fit squad.

That’s not a bad shout.

Jake has no real pace and is a poor tackler. His strength is his exceptional handling skills, vision and ability to assist. LF would give him the freedom to join the line where he wants and allow us to get an attacking full back with pace.

Hull were talking about Josh Simm about 6 weeks ago, which ties into Matt Shaws story. I'd be surprised if he isn't with us next year.

Unless he has an absolute stinker of a spell

I know some people were impressed with Hoy last week but he has been anonymous so far for Newcastle.

Was reading that we have the option to make walkers loan deal permanent. If he settles and goes well, walker at full back, Conner and trueman in the halves?
