Me and a friend said this the other day, he’s an ‘Aussie’ coach and I say Aussie loosely in a sense he’s lived in the uk for going on 25 + years ? He doesn’t have these ‘contacts’ anymore, he’s just a run of the mill standard British coach, but sky constantly churn out the narrative that he’s ‘got loads of mates in oz’ ‘he’ll be the one to turn it around’
Don’t wanna go all in but the man that turned rovers around the first time was Paul Lakin did it that well a premier league team picked him up, fast forward 15 years he’s doing it again, it’s no coincidence
I do agree that the signing will of had some revenge mixed into it
