I usually believe that coaches should be allowed the full length of there contract to prove themselves, but its so plain to see that as a SL coach Agar is clueless, personally I dont we have thequad to be a top 6 team, he is working with a weak squad I dont think thats even debatable, but the sickening thing is just how predictable we are with the ball, you can almost predict every time who will be taking the ball up and what they are goin to do with it, I got so bored yesterday I started to do this, we have virtually no second phase, no structure in attack other then the one line, you just had to look at the way Saints set up and the options that Long was given at halfback, his runners and even something so simple as Pryce standing a bit deeper, Cas are not the most talented squad in the league score points becuase they use the run around to good effect, we just play one man rugby and dont even do that right.
I hate to say it as im usually really against this type of thing and it dosnt help the team in the short term and I usually cringe when it happens, but maybe the fans need to start putting even more pressure on him and the board, becuase its clear to see after been so rash with a successful coach like Kear the board for some reason have no intention of replacing Agar regardless of how poor the performances are, and even if they did we know who it would be.
Richard Agar clearly does not tell the players to go out there and have no second phase , nor does he tell them to take wrong options or make silly errors
It takes a degree of player initiatve , and motivation to do well for the team and most importantly , quality.
Executed properly, the way we are playing can be highly effective no matter how "boring " it may be, but when we should be playing error free rugby with good kicks and forcing errors , the lads on the feild are sloppy.
It started at the back end of the Kear regime , then during the sharp era and now with Agar , when will people realise that the same problem cannot be down to so called "negative" tactics and realise that the current squad with the players missing that are , isn't good enough to be classed as top 4.
So at risk of becoming more unpopular than he is at the moment, lay off the guy .

Some good points, but how does any of this explain his utter inability to operate his bench?
One of the most basic skills of any coach, and Agar doesn't have it. At all.

I agree some of the players are just not good enough and must shoulder some of the blame for the position we find ourselves in. But you give the same side a better coach and we would have won half the games we have lost so far this season.

Been saying this for a while, Agars gotta go his tactics have been shocking, leaving 2 subs on the bench ( one of them which has been one of our best players this season ) until the last 15 minutes when the game was over isnt a wise decision, and also wot do they do in training as we had 3 sets on the saints line and on everyone of them sets i noticed we did one man drive and then a kick in the ingoal which went dead
I was a fan of the oppointment of Sharp ( The current one ) . I thought our defence would be hell of a lot tougher than it is showing ...ummm
70+ points in 2 games.

To be fair you have played against two thirds of the top three.
