I'm sure if Hull FC charged the same price, but threw in a free FC window sticker or something, people would not be complaining. It'd still be a change from the product on offer, and the choice would be whether you paid to go to the game and get the free sticker, or not to go. As with the donation, you'd know exactly what you money was giving you, and a choice of whether to pay or not.
You should never be forced to give to a charity, its about personal choice.
You could say Hull are threatening fans, donate to charity or you are not coming to watch your team.
Either way fans are being forced to donate which is wrong, I have my ticket anyway.
