In an ideal world, where finances aren’t precarious, I’d have gone for Wane (to get a grip on the culture of the club) or Fitzgibbon (already said he won’t break his contract, and will end up head coach in the NRL anyway).
I think if there is a change, it will need to be someone who is available, and in the country already (like Tony Smith at the Dobbins).
I wonder if the challenges facing the game will kill off APs energy and enthusiasm for the game. Wouldn’t surprise me.
