This is a first for rugby union but women have already referred mens euro internationals for the rugby league European federation for years?! Why on a rugby league forum?
For a start it shouldn't be labeled as an achievement for any women to ref a mans game. It cant become the norm if its being pointed out. Its like shrinkflation, not many noticed our snacks were getting smaller until the media pointed it out.
Second, if she had reffed an international game surely this is already more important than a European club game
