On performances I have seen thus far this season the guys who have stood out to such a degree they would be in with a shout to me have been
R Horne
D Tickle
Ginger git
L Gilmore
D Blanch
L Smith

but so early in the season to judge...

I look at it this way...

In 2006 we put together a 13 game winning streak, finished second, and made the GF. Horne was instrumental in that performance, breaking the record for tries scored in consecutive matches.

He didn't get a sniff of the MOS award.

So, no; I don't think he'll be winning MOS any time soon.

spot on! we could win every match this term, all finals and have 13 in the England squad and we still would not get a look in

Horne's in with a good chance if he stays fit and keeps scoring tries. Christ, if a player who has come back from a career threatening injury, has been diagnosed with diabetes and is in form, in his testimonial year doesn't win it then we'll never have a player win it
