I'll give you my opinion now.

I have 2 boys and have been to countless away games with them and used their passes. You know which are the home and away tickets within the passes. I have always given the lads their passes open at the relevent page, checked with the turnstile operator and then torn the ticket out and kept the pass.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh but the club aren't there to wipe your backsides. The tickets are clearly marked in the passes.

I now await the torrent of abuse lol!!!

But it shouldn't be beyond the realms of reason that, on a one off occasions where the club were already aware of a problem, they do something about it?

But it wil involve FCVoices being critical of the club, hmmmm, not gonna happen is it.

Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?

If it had only affected a couple of people then you could put it down to poor judgement, but my friend was led to believe from the turnstile operator at the KC, stewards, the ticket office and even the Hull FC office that this was a problem that had affected quite a few people. There must be some truth in that as there is now a statement in on the website with regards to issues surrounding the use of passes.

As I have mentioned, my friends son is 10 years old, regardless of which page he has his pass opened at by his Dad, he is going to hand his pass over to the turnstile operator if asked to do so, as would most 10 year olds.

I am sure that my friend and any others affected by this will use extra caution when using their junior passes at future away games, but surely it is not too much to expect the club to show a little compassion and assistance when dealing with matters like this.

I have just been in the shower after writing what I wrote above and I did think to myself that the club could've been a bit more sensitive and lenient with the kids who'd had the wrong ticket off them. If it was just one or two I could understand it but if it was as many as has been stated then a goodwill gesture wouldn't have killed them.

I take that personally. You know me well enough to know that I couldn't give 2 hoots what committee I'm on...if I'm not happy, I'll say so as the other members of the group will testify after the last meeting when I let rip about the £1 'Donation' I was forced to make.

Not having a go Karren, just getting my point accross. My friend, like most, had not come across any problems using his son's junior pass for away games in the past, but I am sure will be on his toes in the future.

Its not hard to do is it, in the rovers pass the away vouchers are a different colour at the back of the pass. It is your responsibility to take out the right ticket and hand it over to the turnstyle operator. I dont blame the club for saying its not for them to sort out you could take a numbered ticket out the home ones and give it to a mate and then say it was taken out by the away stewards and get a replacement, the club loses out

At Bradford they deserve great credit for having 'combined' turnstiles where they allow adults and children to go through the same turnstile. This is what I did with my 6 year old and I tore out the voucher on his behalf knowing it was the correct one. The combined turnstile was a great idea it means you don't have to leave a young 'un to wait at the other sde of the turnstile while the adult queues elsewhere, and you can 'manage' the voucher transaction on the child's behalf.

In any case I see it as the accompanying adult's responsibility to ensure the correct managing of the voucher and if I'd had to accompany my lad to the concession turnstile and sort the voucher out before joining the adult queue I would have done so. I hope our club can help more in resolving this problem created by Bradford's turnstile staff but at the end of the day I disagree that Hull FC have 'handled this badly'. Maybe the accompanying adults can learn from this episode and handle their own situation better in the future - no disrespect to anyone concerned.
