Not a personal attack on you mate, it just annoys me how the so called 'smaller sides' like us and Wakefield don't get the credit we deserve when we put in a good performance. The leading comment is always on how poor the 'bigger' team played.
We were poor, too many dropped passes, holding back in the defensive line, wrong options on critical plays - eg yeamo keeping hold and not putting briscoe over, berro at the end offloading when he should have died with the ball on the 4th to set up for a drop goal, dowes forcing a pass after his break in the first half.
I really enjoyed cas's attacking play and sherwins flat pass was outstanding, but we nearly beat you playing poorly, and yes you were the better side, but had we have sneaked it, we would have still said it was poor
You had a 100% record, and were really on fire. Yet all of a sudden, you were just really poor? Nothing to do with us playing well.

Did you listen to what we were doing? Unforced error after unforced error. Threw away at least one nailed-on try. Only kicked one goal from 4 attempts.
we was poor, fc played dumb rugby yet still managed to outscore cas 4-3, ultimatly tickles missed kicks cost us. cas were a pleasure to watch tonight keeping the ball alive, but, the amount of drop ball we gave you, leeds, sts would've wracked up 30 by half time, thats the difference between the top 2 and the rest

Surely for you to play poor there has to be some compromise, i.e. us being good attributed to your drop in performance levels.
It could be said you were forced into mistakes etc. At least it is nice to see some Hull fans being respectful in defeat and admitting that for once there was some good play from Cas, rather than - like Sky and the SLS (and some other fans on RLFans) completely discrediting the scorelines, and just saying it was a bad day at the office for the opposition.
