I don't know what I missed, but it seemed like a typical Radford performance tonight, i.e. solid, but not overly effective. As always, he was far too intent in gaining an extra couple of inches at the expense of a quick play, costing us ground on the subsequent play.
Compared to the praise Tickle, who played around 20 minutes longer and was far more effective on both sides of the ball, has received, the praise Radford is getting is very OTT. I'd love him to produce something extra (and he has in the past, mainly a couple of years ago when he was putting in much longer stints and working harder in them), but it's just not there at the minute. He could learn a lot from Cusack when it comes to economies of scale.
