Radford said: "Scott is a great acquisition and he showed why when he played against us earlier this season. He was fantastic on both occasions.
"He is a Hull lad, a Hull FC fan and comes from a Black and White family so he knows what the club means to the people of Hull and is really excited about playing his part in some success here.
"He has the ingredients to become a real leader in our park. He plays big minutes and is one of the best English forwards in the competition at the moment, with his best years ahead of him."
He added: "The move has been long in the planning with a lot of working going into getting our squad right for next season and with Gareth Ellis also being able to step up in the front row, we may also look to strengthen with another significant back rower to complete what we hope will be a strong pack for next season.
Scott is at a similar age to the likes of Liam Watts, Joe Westerman, Danny Houghton, Chris Green, Josh Bowden and Jordan Thompson, plus our other youngsters coming through in the squad. That is the nucleus we can build a stable team around for years to come."Houghton and Westerman staying maybe?
