Very sad news, was my coach at Newland and him and
my dad Pete Oglesby who passed away recently
made us a very good side, making a couple of
youth internationals.

Brian was the guy that got me into Rugby - he spotted me at a Rugby open day at the Boulevard in 1976, and he took me to Newland. He also coached me at Stelrad so he was a massive part of my playing days. Always laughing and cheerful, it was a pleasure to be in his company. Brian you will be missed by many.

the tributes are sometimes over the top when someone has passed away. but this fella was a quality guy. and all the tributes are fully deserved. was my teacher a cooper
