My friend has experienced problems with regards to his son’s junior pass. They had both traveled away to the Bradford game and when it came to trying to enter the KC for last weeks home game, they realised that the turnstile operator at Bradford had ripped out the no3 voucher of his sons season pass.
My friend was told that they knew about the problem and, that the bulls had used the wrong voucher from the vast majority of Hull junior season pass holders who had attended the game. To cut a long story short, they were passed from between the KC ticket office and the Hull office, where they were met by someone who had obviously not yet had any customer relations training and basically told my mate it was not their problem and a mistake of the bulls that they were aware of and he would have to pay if he wanted his son to see the Cas game.My friend has now sent two e-mails to James Rule on this matter and is yet to receive a reply, although for the life of me I can’t figure out why either of us is surprised or shocked by this.
It’s ok the club having statements on their web site that basically say that it is the season pass holders responsibility to hand over the correct voucher, but is this always possible? My friend’s son is 10 and has to enter the ground in a different turnstile. He, as usual for away games asked the turnstile operator which voucher was needed. The operator took his pass off him and ripped out the voucher before handing it back. As they have not experienced any problems in the past, my friend then took his sons pass off him when they were in the ground, unsuspecting that there was a problem.
I feel that this is another issue that could and should have handled better. But because it probably only effects the lemmings who they know will continue to support them and not the corporate types they seem to crave, they don’t really give a flying French Connection UK.
