I think you'll be right to start the season but hopefully Martin will displace Briscoe as the season goes on

I found this an interesting read particularly about the ability now for other clubs to approach players contacted for this season after 1st December and the fact that some clubs will hear players are leaving and say "Just go then if you don't want to play for us" I expect that will eventually be the case for at least one young player at our club but only time will tell. There will be a lot of movement in the next couple of months across the game as things become more clear with clubs approaching players with less than a year left on their contracts and it will be interesting to see which clubs retain those players and which ones say well If you don't want to play for us then 'Bugger" off! https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/r ... ll-9899095

until injuries hit , and they will.
But until then Moy FB and Rapana wing

The others on the list have potential but agree if they don’t want to be here/commit maybe best to move them on early.

I'd be shocked if Rapana plays on the wing at the start of the season, particularly with the wingers we have

Always thought they might fancy Rapana at centre, if they started the first game with a backline of Moy, Martin, Rapana, Hardaker and Barron that would certainly address any concerns about pace.

Depends on how much emphasis Cartwright has on making meters from kick returns and out of back field. I think it will be a big thing and possibly why Barron has the 2 shirt as he looked really strong out of dummy half. With that in mind still think he’ll want Rapana to start at 1 and Briscoe on the field maybe over Martin. Even with a decent rub of the green with injuries it’s unlikely we’ll often have the first choice 17 available so good to have options.
