Just a thread to give everyone the opportunity to pass on all the best to the rest of this great community. I personally wanted to say Happy Christmas and thanks everyone for making me so welcome on here and for putting up with my endless diatribes and hand wringing during what has been one of the worst seasons I have experienced in the 65 years I have been attending the FC games.
I know I go on, and in fact did consider condensing the coverage of the birth of Christ as its depicted by all four synoptic Gospels and its relevance to the life and times of Bing Crosby and Noddy Holder but perhaps that would be a place that is more off topic than even I usually wander to!!
Christmas is a time for reflection (although for some of us it’s a case of bloody hell I’ve managed to survive to another one!) but those of you who have stuck with the FC this year are the true supporters and what a great community this is on here.
Man, there are some great people on here. Some have been friends for years others who I have never even met have become great friends too. But we all care and we all love the club; well almost all!
As for the wise men from the east who frequent this forum from time to time, some are OK but many bear similarities to those original three wise men in that they get to the point way after everyone else has moved on and having lost all sense of direction themselves following something that they never actually reach, they bear contributions that no one can understand what the hell they are!!
Have a great and peaceful Christmas everyone and here’s to a successful 2025!!!
