Back where? Where have you been? Let’s not forget this time last season your enthusiasm off the back of signing Pele and Nu Brown and thinking a top 6 finish could be in grasp with the messiah Smith at the wheel
Indeed mate, the only thing back at the moment is the arrogance which we've seen from their fans for many years, it's usually dispersed by the end of May and i see no difference this time round

Don't you lot have your own little secret forum where you all can discuss all things hull fc?

No shame in admitting or hiding from the fact that, in reality, this club is coming back from the brink. The sole aim for this club under Pearson during/post Covid was to simply survive. He had his critics, myself included, but to his credit he has sourced probably the best case situation.
Completely new chapter for the club, substantial investment from a very wealthy board, a lease at the stadium of which the new owners consider 'more than a fair deal', new facilities, a much more professional set up behind the scenes, and on paper at least a pretty experienced squad mixed with a decent bunch of homegrown talent.
There is no real arrogance here, some comments may be said tongue in cheek, but no Hull fan expects this to be an overnight fix, most would place us 8-10th on the table for next season. However based on the amount to be invested alone, our squad will be one that, in theory, should be one that's competing at the very top.
Not worth the debate if you think Ese Ese would potentially get in your 17, your bias clearly shows here.
im a rugby league fan first mate, the bias will always be there for rovers, i praised that 16,17 squad of yours and still do to this day, it was almost a failure as i had you winning the GF but radford let his personal friendships and high fiving after the cc cup win hinder the latter end of the season
ese ese looked good in lets face it the worst hull fc side since SL began, you cannot say and put stats against rovers 11th 6points vs 2nd 40 points

thats not bias thats just simple truth
No one will remember the 2024 season RL C, there will be no open top bus parade, no 10 or 20 year anniversary.
5 years time, will just be another season.
Rovers have done some good things, no one can deny that, but youth development isn't one if them amd signing average players like Richardson, Kershaw and Ruan, won't help you in the short term and certainly not the long term.
We have been awful for 3 season, no one is arguing that, we will probably struggle this year too, but looks like we have along term plan.
Like Cas, Salford and Hudds these seasons where you get to finals and fail, will be long forgotten, unless you win a trophy.

Herman's stats were outstanding last season and would have been even better in a stronger team. He'd walk into the first choice 17 of every club in sl
Again Dave read my previous post, our youth set up roadmap has started to get the respect/attention it deserves in the past 2 years, it takes time
Ruan brown wynne all young projects
Chamberlain Hardaker oggy holmes all players that are at the end of their careers
There’s levels to this game, no bite here but you can’t be throwing shade at these types of signings the 3 above wouldn’t even be good enough to carry our water bottles on to the pitch
Sorry for the insult but you’ve turned a genuine conversation into a goading match against our signings so if you wanna play top trumps I’ll play all day long, there isn’t one player in your setup that gets close to our starting 17 at the moment and that’s a fact potentially ese ese but he’d need a tougher pre season and fitness levels aren’t good enough
You say Bout goading and top trumps but when you claim the likes of Brown, Wynne and Kershaw are young prospects I’m sorry but you lost any debate on that statement alone. The likes of Hardaker, Sezer, Holmes and Rapana have been signed to pass on valuable experience to the young players coming through and won’t block the path of progression. Signing the likes of Wynne, Kershaw and now Ruan blocks the path of any potential talent you may have.
