Reading between the lines, I’m assuming something will be announced before both these events, in regards of investment/ownership.

It’s a hard sell otherwise.

Can't remember which podcast it was, but Dan Tomlinson said as much.
Something along the lines of "they're hoping it'll be sorted before the forum or things may get a little hostile"
