Tomorrow whatever some on here might say we say good bye to one of the clubs all time greatest players, who has given his all, stayed loyal to the club and buggered his body by putting it on the line for years and indeed he is one of the two 2016 immortals we bid goodbye to again Catalans, as the last remnants of that golden era team departs forever. However for me and all of us 'faithfuls' who can't retire, get transferred or just walk away next week is crucial for us all.
If all we get is a few flimsy announcements around goodbyes and hello's, and brighter days ahead stuff then we look set for a long hibernation and weeks of hanging around hoping for an announcement, one that might, quite frankly, in the long term save the club. Next week would be the idea time with foreclosure for those currently involved in running the club, but if it down to the legal bods who knows. one things for sure we need at least an incling of what's happening at our club going forward (if anything).
I think those of us left hanging in there out of love deserve at least that.
The fact is, we all need some hope and the club need a big incentive to even get 25% of the stay away subscribers engaged again, come season ticket time. Thats the big hope for me, but it's a big ask and with hull fc, Adam and the roaring silence on the situation we have endured for weeks, realistically I'm afraid it makes it an even bigger unlikelyhood.
