Catalan have signed Nick Cotric on a three year deal. Him and Makinson - softens the blow somewhat of losing Davies and Johnstone. Impressive recruitment.

Didn't see that coming, thought with the criticism of him, us allegedly signing Rimbu, and the contract talks being public he'd be off... Glad it's a done deal, hope he kicks on now

It's good news and shows why supporters need to be patient especially in these times of change at the club.

While I would have liked a 2 year deal for him (not trying to look for a negative spin) think the fact he will be here for when Cartwright takes over is fantastic news.

Surprised but obviously pleased about Balmforth. I guess after his last two performances other clubs would have been circling. I understand Rovers were very keen but prefer to develop their own players.

I wonder if we will still sign a quota hooker or go with Bourouh, Balmforth, Smith with Hodgson continuing his development?

Good news on balmforth and hopefully frees up the quota spot and cash to be spent elsewhere
