i didnt complain when we signed Asiata or Chan on a short term loan,
They are very good players
If you think a backline of Briscoe,Hardaker,Sutcliffe plus probably Martin is going to elevate us into a major attacking strike force then you are deluded and the idea that we wait a further two years hoping two young centres come through to take their place is even more deluded
several teams have forwards with more pace than those three

You’ve not answered the question, who are we realistically going to sign? For example i much rather we had gone for Ben Davies from St Helens to play centre, but personally I’m still not sure he’s up for it.

If Chan becomes available I’m sure the club would jump to sign him but he’s currently not. There’s a distinct lack of players available so we have to take what we can get for now and look to build. Clubs aren’t going to release their better players for us

Lets see when recruitment is over, still going to be 2 to 4 quota places, plus a few other domestic players to come. Then we can judge Myler on his recruitment.

The quota players are key, if we can bring in another centre,7, 9 and backrow of good quality I think we will be in a decent position.

Missed out on a lot of recruitment because of the timing on Myler/investment.

Nest year is about competing, in every game and having a challenge of 6th position.

This is very true. We are fishing in a very small pond for federation players and choice is even more limited because the investment has come late. This doesn't alter my opinion on the Hardaker signing.

As you say the remaining quota signings are key. Far more options and hopefully we will have a minimum of three and a marquee spot. The quality of these signings will determine just how competitive we are going to be next season.

I agree on Hardaker, think most fans do, but I'm not devastated, on the field he is an improvement on Carlos, brings a winning mentality, I'd imagine wages won't be too high and he is non quota.

some fans will always see a positive whoever the club signs
Whatever spin you want to put on signing Hardaker its a poor signing when centre is another position where we are so poor.
He is also not the role model we need for our younger players.
Briscoe an ideal role model.Hardaker definitely not.

Some will always see negatives too. At first I wasn’t happy with Zak but if he’s good with the youth,as has been said, I get it. The rebuild is long term not 2 seasons.

See Myler is getting a bit of a questioning on here over Hardaker…don’t forget that Radlinski and Chester also signed him and stood by him and you can argue that them 2 had been doing job longer than Myler and on about Signing players with off field brain farts….didnt the esteemed Moto Tony sign Seymour?…I may be wrong and he wasn’t exactly a angel was he.
