Tex Hoy : Sat Jul 15, 2023 7:02 pm
Not sure what thread to put this on so here’s a new one. Tex has just put on Twitter

Going to leave this here.

Hamstring is okay. Following a plan of action from the medical staff to get it healthy but at this stage I am taking it week by week.

My return to play is indefinite.

Looks like no return timescale for him. Hopefully not too long.

Fingers crossed as hamstrings are very fragile. We've seen glimpses of what he's capable of.

Might be worth just letting him rest for the remainder of the season and getting it 100% ready for next season a bit like Wigan did with Jai Field a couple of years ago, Litten is more than capable to play the rest of the year at full back.

Agree with this. I'd just let him recover now. Don't think it's worth bringing him back in when there's only 2 or 3 games left and risking his hamstring going again and ruining his pre season. Litten is capable at the back and we obviously also still have Shaul, so we're well covered at full back for the remainder of the season.
Must admit it is a concern moving forward that this is his 3rd hamstring injury this year.

Agree, Litten is the most confident young player ive seen in a long time.

Even thinking the most optimisically and we finish 6th we are very likely to go out 1st round and be trophyless, 2024 is the bigger priority.
