Shenton Appointed As Head of Emerging Talent : Mon Sep 27, 2021 7:00 pm  

I thought this worthy of a separate thread (apologies to UllFC) Certainly out of left field this one but an interesting and astute apppointment https://www.hullfc.com/blog/2021/09/27/shenton-appointed-as-head-of-emerging-talent/ Shenton's experience at Cas and Saints cannot be questioned. Good to have some fresh ideas from outside the club.

Good luck to the guy, as you say should bring some fresh ideas.

Obviously a very good centre but not sure what experience he has though? Has he done some work with the academy at Cas?

Must of failed the exam to be a prison officer

no he passed it actually He's working part time with the academy.

I've no problem with Yeaman in that role. You would have had a point if, say, Rich Horne had got the Head of Emerginf Talent job but the club have shown they are looking to bring in new ideas.

Good appointment. Should have his finger on the pulse re-snaffling a few
good youngsters from West Yorks

Never a great natural talent but just out-grafted most, always played out his skin. Good to have around and is well regarded across the game. Hopefully this is the type of signing that brings long term success.
