He mentions quality players, and then the 2 names mentioned this week are Scurr and Joe Wardle. Hopefully that's the depth, and the rumours of the quality will start this week.

Hopefully Fonua and Reynolds can be moved on and then 400k comes available and 2 quota spots

But as has been much discussed, which clubs are going to go 'oh yeh Fonua and Reynolds, they'll really improve our Centre/Wing and Halves' and take them off us? I don't even think Toulouse need em the way they have smashed it in the championship.

Pearson is going to have to pay one or two off, or at the very least fund a good chunk of their wages for their new club.

I still think Reynolds might retire. Maybe the club can use the video they have of him to force that through

The last time I remember really enjoying us play was the Mcrae era (mk1) - we was so well coached, had a great side, played great defensively and in attack. You'd go to watch them games feeling like we was almost invincible. Granted we only won the cc in 2005 but we was closer to being SL champions than the Radford side of a few years ago. Since then its been painful at the most and the play is dire compared to 15 years ago

Excepting the results what do you actually base that on. Genuine question! What do you see?

Before Brett Hodgson got the job, who were most Hull fans hoping to be their next coach ??
This is the kind of thing my club Leigh would do (with all due respect as we are usually in the championship) but give the head coach role to someone who has never done it before. Obviously when you put 60 past us at our place, you looked like a rather good side. :D

I would have liked McNamara, I think he would have come last season, but no chance now.

Alot of the successful coaches have been NRL assistant coaches, Holbrook, McGuire, Woolf.

But it's a gamble, I think he will stay, but I wouldn't be bothered if he went.

I'd really look to change the backroom staff, I'd bring in Lee Briers for one.

Big chances needed on and off the pitch, again.

On paper Hull are a top 6 side at the very least. I know it's a lopsided league table due to win percentages, but I'm amazed you won only 8 games out of 21.

Of their is any evidence of either him or Fonua doing anything wrong that we could cancel their contracts we should be doing it.

Those two off the cap and the extra two quota spots could make a massive difference to the squad.

I see nothing. The last couple of months have been dire and have steadily gotten worse. I have been really disappointed in his ability to address the current slide which has seen us lose to basically everyone in the last few weeks without any sign of improvement. He hasn't been able to galvanise the side or rally them into a response. I've seen no shoots of progress under him, the style of rugby is one dimensional in both attack and defence. His use of interchanges is appaling. He simply doesn't inspire confidence. Convince me otherwise.
