You are facing a Bradford like crisis and the only way out is an immediate and substantial downsizing.

Right now you are spending about 750k more per season on players than Rovers which is similar to your annual loss.

For your extra £750k you have 6 wins and 5th place in Super League compared to Rovers 6 wins and 6th place.. Who is getting value for money?

The 'glory or bust' experiment has failed.

Hull Fc need to act now or administration awaits.

Fair Point!
In the past decade:
- Rovers have been to Wembley once and lost narrowly by the odd fifty points in fifty
- Been in the Championship
- Been in the Play Offs 2/10
- Received a ‘gift’ of a £1m from the Allam’s
- Lost their Owner
- Held a Fun Day

Meanwhile
- Hull have been to Wembley three times, won twice (at a place some assured us that we’d never win)
- Only played in the Super League
- Been in the Play Offs 6/10 times

So who is getting value for money?

Shows that the "new stadium plans" just a few months ago were pie in the sky

Were not a big club in the grand scheme of things

Were no bigger than a average league 1 football team

The sport has under sold its self for years and has finally caught up

Super league will be part time in 3 years thanks to clubs and RFL doing nothing to promote it

If people/businesses don't get together against this farce it will never end as they keep moving the goalposts even when the death rate is still below 50 every day!

Sadly I tend to agree.

I also wonder if an RL team would be lured by Union at some point. For example Saints have a great brand, own their ground and Union has minimal presence in the North West. There would be uproar of course but if it's a future of top class Union or part time in a dwindling RL league then it may get tempting...

It’s the future that is important now, not the past.

Pearson seems to be becoming more realistic in his predictions for FC’s future even if some fans are not.

On the field we are in the best shape we have been in for a few years, and I'm sure Hodgson will make further tweaks next winter. The big question is the finances and stadium situaiton.

I hope Hull FC and all clubs pull through this difficult period.

It’s a tricky balance flagging these sorts of concerns. The honesty is admirable and maybe necessary, but you don’t want to undermine confidence in your organisation. Pearson seems to have walked the line pretty well, in fairness, although from my perspective it does bring to mind Neil Hudgell’s announcement relating to covering Rovers losses in 2012.

However, someone mentioned value for money, based purely on this week’s League Table.

I fully expect Hull to now finish in the Top 4 this season and compete for a place in the Grand Final.

Rovers have had some decent results in the past few weeks, however with outstanding fixtures across the league, I’d expect them to most likely to finish between 6th-9th.

Obviously, the season will play out how it does and it is down to each fan to determine if they are content with where their team finishes and whether that justifies value for money.

Rovers are above us now aren't they?
