The article implies extra work will raise the capacity by another 1608. But that doesn't quite tally with then saying "Refurbishment of the North Stand to increase capacity from 1500 up to 3500." I've also no idea what the capacity is of the South Stand/boxes, but I would assume it's a few 100. So we need to knock that off the North/West terrace figures?

Club-shop Daz replied on FB yesterday saying the capacity was "just over 7000".

So you seem to be about right.

And yet the Cas death trap has an alleged 13000 capacity, presumably both limits defined by Wakefield MDC.

That was for the new stadium at escape. Glasshoughton in the address is the give away. We had 10,200 for the Wigan game and the club said there were only about 200 to lets left so the capacity is probably about 10,400.
