We did a bit, but we looked to a bit in the first half too.

I missed the Uele try as I was on coffee duty

Was very much like the Solomona try at Wigan many years ago when he got stopped on the line by a multitude of defenders then this arm just appeared and plonked the ball over the line :ROCKS:

That’s the difference between trying to put a big shot on and not focusing on tackling which allowed him to spin drop and reach out, the York lad who needed a haircut tried the big shot and failed :D

Great statement, not letting a few idiots get in the way of great afternoon on and off the pitch.

Watched a good 20 minutes of the best free flowing R L football I have seen in years ,as in passing of ball at speed ,runners all over the place, and one of the best tackling displays for 80 minutes .Know it is in the Championship but you still got to deliver. And a lot of the talk on here as been about 10 \ 15 ? who shamed the name of our great club .Let them not get in the way of what looks like a season to remember

It was a very enjoyable day - all apart from the idiots right at the end.
Looking at the video going around social media it was just 2 brainless morons fighting, looked like
a Father and Son. The rest of the Trinity supporters in that stand were telling them to pack it in and
leave the stadium. Hopefully bans coming their way.

As for the game, I thought Max was exceptional but overall it was a very good team performance.
Scott Mikalauskas gave some very dubious penalties in the second half, but the lads defended
incredibly well.

York have a great Stadium, and a good little set up.

Overall a good start to the new Trinity era.

Was a very enjoyable experience, both the game and the ground. It did seem to be just the 2 morons that couldn't handle the beer.

Still not convinced with Lino, he tackles well above his weight, but his go forward still seems to be a hop, skip and jump or a drop off pass. Bowden look great for me, some big hits.

Scott Mikalauskas, where to start. He should be an NFL ref let way too many forward passes go (as did his touch judge). But in a strange way, he did us a favour as without his strange reffing, York wouldn't get in our half, so we at least had some defensive training.

Two idiots spoiled it! Don't tar everyone else who was stood round them trying to calm things down with the same brush, the 2 in question i'm sure will be dealt with.

Indeed, the defence was a very pleasing aspect of the game, more so then the attack, I would guess with Myler, Dagger et al York would've asked more questions but still we looked solid and to not nil them will have irked the team
