Yes I had the same problem . There seemed to be plenty of speakers along the stand roof but I don't think they were working correctly, definitely need sorting . However Matt Ellis seems a man of action and will be on to it. These things happen, just snagging issues and last night was ideal to test things out.

Regarding attendance, I saw smaller crowds at many of our home games last season and it looked very healthy for a friendley

Bit of a novelty in the new stand last night.
Last time I sat in the East Stand was 2nd division rugby back in 1995 when there was a downpour and the doors were opened to allow free entry to escape the rain. Brad Davis had just arrived from York.
I'll be happy to get back into the North Stand come the full season opener. Wrist band or not!

Thought we looked really good last night, and looked sharp, both in attack and defence.

Worryingly, looked like Bowden limped from the field.

Have we signed that livewire yet, Alec that was mentioned last night.

Maybe we should use the Springsteen song, Dancing In The Dark.

After nearly 60 years of watching Wakefield it was the first time I'd seen a first team game from the East stand. I was sat on row 7 on the south side of the tunnel, good seats plenty of leg room and an unrestricted view, really impressed, and glad I've got a East stand season ticket.

I enjoyed the game and we looked rock solid in defence and we looked fit. We've got a pack that'll just keep coming, teams won't be able to cope with that for 80 mins. In attack we looked slick and we've signed a star in Myles Lawford. I'm really looking forward to a successful season bring it on.

Didn’t see the game (the Wigan TV site wouldn’t accept my Aussie debit card and I gave up trying after several attempts)

Followed the game on Twitter… and it seemed a good showing… disappointed that no highlights have been posted yet!
