To be fair Salford also had a similar number of their likely best 17 missing and have an equally shallow squad so it was pretty even there. Probably explains that for all the endeavour and late excitement in show it was a pretty low quality game.

Other than lafai and burgess they had noone who regularly play and none of there spine out whilst we had ours badly disrupted so no it wasnt even there

Partington & Gerrard are regulars plus they’ve just lost Sarginson who would have been in their team today. We only had one of our starting spine missing in Jowitt. Don’t even think about counting Gaskell. If we can’t cope with that then we will get what we deserve.

But Gaskill is our starting spine whether you like him or not, and Hood was injured in the game.
And Sarginson retired. That's hardly a starting player.

Sarginson was a first choice when available, it just wasn’t very often. But if your plans for the season involve that player and he can’t play, retired or not, then its a loss. Hood going off wasn’t good but Ackers also had to have a spell off for an HIA as well, it happens and you have to cope. But it makes you feel better go with it, i see it a different way.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Wish we had some who'd have that level of integrity in the club

I agree that you can`t count Sarge as he`s not played this season but by gum we missed Burgess who would have skated in twice.

Egg Banjo is talking like a young Willzay. Neither of them I guess would pay to watch or support the club so dismiss their posts.

Today Trinity came with a plan - no doubt instituted by the coach - which was successful to a point as they got into Salford`s faces and forced them to play down the middle which is not our game - and it nearly paid off.

Lino was excellent but Trinity`s attack was very limited relying entirely on Up and Unders hoping the defence line would make a mistake which they invariably did. The first try was a belter due to Lino`s sleight of hand but that was the last we saw of any open play.

On this show Trinity will survive but they need to be more expansive to stand a chance. Defence was very good.

In the defense of Egg Banjo, he is entitled to his opinion whether anyone thinks he his right or wrong. Personally, i don't think he should be vilified or disparaged for having an opinion. No doubt i will be shot down, and told to mind my own business but, you should be applauded for your performance today which ended in a cruel way.

Of course he's entitled to his opinion. But if it differs from everyone else, they are entitled to call him out on it.
Apart from thinking everything is crap, I'm not sure what that opinion is.
