The inspections weren’t “needless” it is evident that the pitch is responsible causing injuries to players and clubs have a duty of care for players as does the governing body namely the RFL.

The time conducted inspecting the pitch was necessary. Sky could still have broadcasted the game against Hull Kingston Rovers, the timeframe allowed that however I presume Sky didn’t want to broadcast this fixture due to the general condition of the Wakefield stadium regardless of the pitch .

For many years Wakefield have had issues with their ground it hasn’t been fit for purpose for many years.
It didn’t meet the criteria when the licensing grading system was introduced years ago.

Poor results, coupled with the fact that Michael Carter is leaving the club I think this season will be the last Wakefield play in the Superleague. The emergence of Leigh adds to Wakefields woes, good performances on the pitch and a man willing to put money into the club and invest in players.

Wakefield in my opinion have by pure luck for many years always dodged the bullet now unfortunately that luck has ran out.

No point coming on here and talking the brown stuff Most Wakefield fans know this .Just sod off back to what ever hole you have come out of .and let us fans enjoy the ride

I couldn't hear the robin sing if not for you.

The pitch has improved a lot since the Huddersfield game but parts of it are still not right. Cuts and scrapes are not the worst thing that can happen on a Rugby League pitch - just ask Mose Masoe - so everyone will just have to get on with it.

Your team is much better than some people think and in your shoes I'd be very disappointed not to get a point from the Salford game. You were level after 80 minutes so that's a draw in my book.

Rovers without Jordan Abdull are not the same attacking threat so you have a chance in this game obviously you have plenty missing yourselves.

Either way I hope to be back at your place in Super League 2024 to try out the new stand.

What the hell is going on with this forum,
Why do so many posters take it upon themselves to vilify another poster just because they say something they don’t agree with or like?

I'm not actually sure which post you are referring to?
I didn't think mine was overly aggressive but I apologise if it came across that way.

I’d hope they’d use Langi in his best position at centre alongside Taufua and Hall has excelled at second row previously so also adds a threat in the pack …

Taufua
Langi
Lynne
Kershaw
Smith
Lino
Whitbread
Bowes
Atoni
Ashurst
Hall
