The terracing in the North East corner has been repaired and now has a safety certificate. A very quick and cheap way to gain 200 spaces.

When you say cheap, how much are we talking?

No idea, but repairing some existing terracing and bolting the crash barriers has got to be pretty cost effective wouldn’t you say? I can’t think of an easier or cheaper way to gain 200 spaces, can you?

Is this work also part of the planned raising of the North Stand roof to match the height and adjoin the East Stand?

Wouldn't have thought so, lifting the roof will need planning permission so may be something that's done in the off season.

It's not a "roof-raising" that's planned - it's a completely new stand.

There's an image on the concourse displays, though no PP has gone in yet. It's just at the concept stage.

Are you sure it’s a completely new north stand? Looking at the concourse display the railings and design looked same as what’s currently in place for the most part though just extended further back.

Though if it was an option I would rather have a much improved north stand with higher capacity and basic facilities than a west stand.

Could certainly push another 1-2000 capacity out of the north more than the west for sure.

The image I have seen seems to suggest it's a new roof with a re profiling of the lower terrace. Excited to see what transpires.

I took it as being a finishing of the concrete at the back and profiling the front, which will require the roof to be lifted higher.
So improved but not completely new.
