Inside track on this one mate. I could tell you how much of a pay off he got from Hull KR as well if i wanted to but i'm i'm not. The exact terms of who and how i don't claim to know, maybe MC is paying him out of his own pocket to cut his lawn for him, but lets just say Chris isn't out of pocket and has a 'club' car (however it is packaged) for twleve months to carry the lawn mower in. And good on everyone in keeping it amicable. Time to let it lie and move on, which is what i'm doing on this subject. (and every other one to be honest).

I’ll wager that car is not with CC in 12 months?

If we were talking about a members club then I can understand’members’ concern in the clubs financial dealings; it isn’t a members club however, and financial dealings with staff past or present have nothing to do with anyone other than those financing or managing the finance of the dealings.
Just let those who know better than us do their bit and we’ll all look forward to a new coach, ground improvement and hopefully a better season next year!

About what exactly?

The car is given by a 3rd party. No cost to the club
The coaches salary does not impact the salary cap, so does not affect the clubs ability to add players
The sum paid to Chester was not paid out of the income that goes to pay player wages so does not affect the clubs ability to pay players.

Seems to me it is simply a case of someone with an axe to grind trying to find something to moan about

So you have the inside track but you don't claim to know the details. Which is it?

Agree. Think we need two props one hopefully being Andrew Fifita and hopefully a young up and coming

I doubt that will happen, he has still got all on to play again after what was a pretty horrific injury. He’s put some stuff in his instagram in recent days showing how he is starting his rehab for next year but he is way off yet. Would be a major risk for us to take him on, i’d guess he’ll see out his last year at Cronulla whilst hopefully getting back on the field at some point next season in reserve grade with Newtown.
