It was somewhat of a no brainier because he did what was asked of him and clearly he had the support of the players.

Least surprising appointment ever. WP is no more or less a risk than even the most experienced coach, all new coaches come with risk attached. However on balance WP comes with less than most, so a good appointment in my book.

Been assistant coach to a guy who's teams have played good attacking rugby .From what I've seen so far since he took over at Wakefield this his the way we are going to play .Pleased he as got the job

I wont lie i wanted a fresh face but congrats to willie he really as earned the the right to to the role with some good performances and i will support him 100%, massive good luck really hope he is successful
