I am sure the club and players are aware of those that are leaving and I just think it would be good to thank those for their service. I guess you do not, the club like all are not perfect but this would have cost them nothing and I am sure appreciated by the supporters.

I think you are missing the fact that the club are specifically targeting Scarlett. The pain and suffering they are causing should not be underestimated.

If you take sarcasm away from me I have nothing.

The reason for the sarcasm is because you seem to take offense about most things the club does, on someone else's behalf.

In the days of social media the fans will be able to say thank you.
As for the contract announcement, maybe it is to allow the players to negotiate their next contract in private.
