First I say. I like Willie Poching,, however, who ever becomes the next coach/ menager, needs to understand the players & teams mentality, they have a history of badly letting down the coach & supporters & eventually causing his demise no matter who that person is.
Our next coach needs to change attitude of the players, improve their ability, be much more professional whilst maintaining a high level of fitness. Finally, the new coach needs to understand transition of the academy players into the first team & not just send them out to championship teams of div one teams. Other clubs are more successful than us in final developments of their academy players.
I do hope as a club we don't just pick a nice guy who is easy to get on with & is cheap, I would rather pay a decent coach - yes even if he is expensive & do without a mediocre player & pay a proper wage to a first line coach who we would have to back up & not let players poor attitude dictate the club on the field.
We may only have this one chance to get this right for the season after the next season of changes !
