Is that a politicians answer then? I.e. no answer

Unless there is a turnaround from Raiders Williams will be off contract and probably in our price bracket.

He backed out last year for family circumstances - I hear it was due to his missus on a good wage back home, no idea if that's true or not but would make sense.

Williams is not the player he was when at Wakefield. He was drafted into Canberra’s first grade and had some good plays but he appears to have lost some pace and the opposition forwards were clearly targeting him as a weak link.
I think it is obvious his desire will be to remain at Canberra at any level and maybe his loyalty will be rewarded there.

Re: Miller : Mon Sep 13, 2021 10:48 am
Miller does lots of really good work and is a real grafter, and leads from the front. He tackles everything and runs his blood to water. But, what he does not do well is make correct pass selections. He holds the ball too long while he has a look around, then hits the short runner with a crash ball too often. Hampshire ran into some great positions around the back yesterday to be able to put the winger away, but never got the ball.

These need to be drill plays, rehearsed and executed quickly. That one second delay that Miller takes to decide is the difference between a great pass and a poor one, and at the moment he is just on the wrong side with his timing.

Not a sidetep there are players like will smith and jaeman salmon in nrl then our very own in hampshire like i mentioned only a few weeks ago mellor may of been get able or about play gaskell at 6 with jowitt or hampshire at full back..or look into championship im sure there be good enough to make a step i can only assume we have scouts looking.too many fans just want to stick to same all the time.

Miller does produce some good stuff but also tends to produce some rubbish (check his stats for missed tackles and errors) which put him on the wrong side of the balance sheet for me. His decision making is pretty dire and he has not improved over the last 3 or so seasons which has stunted our attack. As Captain, focal point, senior pro and quota player, I expect a little better.

Good .. he will fit in just fine with the (forward) flat suicide ball to the likes of Ian Thornley and Jake Bibby !
