You seem well informed regarding Hull KR, do you have relatives that are fans of the club by any chance?
No, definitely not.

They have been relegated only the once, the year in which Chester started with them as coach. Didn't that team put something like 50 on us at our ground
Don't know why you're getting so defensive about Rovers? The thread is merely showing that even Rovers, who carry far more pluses than many other teams in Super League, are currently on a knife edge. They look like ending the season above us for the 1st time in a quite a while. Good on them.
Chester leaving them after a couple of games but still being blamed for relegation 20 odd games later is a very desperate play there.
The big loss v Rovers later that season was a master class from Kelly and Campese. That's all.
All I was defending was the initial comment, and yes Chester was sacked, replaced by Webster, who has also coached us, but was unsackable when with us.
I think I'm being confused here, with another poster on here, though he rarely seems to post on here these days. I do know though, he's been a bit down recently, and not himself, though his father has recently passed away. I saw him last, at the Hull KR game, ironically. I knew his Dad, and we were talking about him, as he used to be a regular too at the games.
Whether it was that or not I'm not sure, but just seemed a bit distant, and didn't seem right, though he was like that when I bumped into him in The Kirklands, last year. He used to be quite chatty, but was very distant, and didn't seem enthusiastic at all, in anything me and his Dad spoke about. Quite concerning when I think about it, with mental health being spoke about so publicly these days

Sorry mate you've completely lost me there? My Dad died many moons ago and my Mum too, before you bring her into it.

I think we've missed understood each other.
With the defensive to Hull KR, I thought I was being mixed up with another poster on here, Eastern Wildcat, as they're his other team. I derailed a bit by saying that he's hardly on here these days, but I think he's a little low at the moment, with his Dad's passing. Though he's seems to have been like it for longer.

Apologies if it touched a nerve, mate
Do you keep tabs on who supports who or do you know the fella? I can hardly keep up with who supports Wakefield, never mind remembering who their second teams are.

Generally speaking, no.
I do know him yes, but I knew his Dad more. His Dad used to coach schools rugby league, he coached both of us, but I'm a few years older. They're a good family, and he's a good lad. He does watch both Wakefield and Hull KR, but, he's a rugby league fan through and through, and has often gone to watch other clubs if Wakefield weren't playing, just to support the game. He is Wakefield though, through and through.
He was out with his Dad, for a couple, and the three of us were talking about the state of Wakefield Trinity, and the game as a whole, amongst other things, but seemed a bit distracted.
