Well, personally, on a selfish level, :) I wouldn't mind that as there's no f**king trains on the Sunday to Huddersfield or Wakefield from Barnsley!

Won't affect me as I haven't been to Shudds for a League game since the Rooney Charity Walk when I got free tickets. Refuse to hand over money to that club.

I'm not sure this is absolutely true as it depends on who you play and not play.
Take Hull KR for example who, before last week's hastily rearranged trip to Catalans, had not played since 18th June.

Games Postponed:
St Helens H
Hull FC H (twice)
Catalans A* (rearranged)
Warrington H
St Helens A
Salford A

Games Won:
Huddersfield H
Leeds H
Castleford A
Leigh H
Salford H
Wigan A

If they'd postponed some of the games they'd won and played some of the postponed games, where would they be in the table?

I feel there should be some punishment for failing to fulfil fixtures if teams cannot rearrange them. One or two fixtures could be just unlucky, but 6 or 7 seems to be a failure of the club either in protocols or in squad depth.

Could Hull KR get in to the play-offs without playing St Helens?

The question is how many of the postponements were the result of Hull KR being unable to fulfil the fixture and how many were their opposition fault.

Yeah, I've lost track of this, but I seem to remember quite a few were HKR.

If it was Wakefield, I'm sure you'd have all the well researched facts at hand. :)

No it is just for clarification, the same would apply to us or wouldn’t you care if we had to postpone games.

Bring back the Pools Panel. Seriously I would have thought that any team that gets relegated with more points than one of the lower team because of % points deciding there fate, would have a case for staying in superleague. Also flipping the argument with % results, what if the Championship was to finish now. Toulouse would get promoted having played 4 less games than Fev, yet both teams have a 100% win record, I`m sure Fev would`nt accept that as fair. The powers that be have turned Rugby into a shambles this year , from Superleague to the Championships and lower leagues, to the Challenge Cup through to the World Cup. Probably the sensible thing to do would be to abandon this season and hope that we are in a better world next year, but do the RFL do sensible ?

Although I agree, it was agreed before the season started and every team understood that.

I accept the argument PT but that should mean that Fev should get promoted because they have the points in the bank. Toulouse could have lost one of their missed games. I knows its hypothetical what I wrote but if one team can get relegated for fulfilling their fixtures then the flip side should see the team with the most wins promoted.

Scenario 1 is not in any way happening.

Scenario 2 - no because it isn't the team finishing top that's promoted - there's a play-off system.
