No it's the last point of contact.

Grace was in-field and it's play on.

I still believe it was not a try because he jumped from outside the field of play. It looks like the video ref thought it was unclear, if that is his defence he definitely needs to go to specsavers.
We shall see who is correct but unfortunately it is too late now.

The try by Amor meant more to him judging by his reaction than a lot of other players. Obviously at the back end of career and I think you could tell he was thinking that this may be his last chance.. I always liked Amor and I think he still has a soft spot for us. Always ready to give the fans a smile and a nod when he plays here. Well done Kyle.

To each their own, but I can’t see say any Hull KR fan wanting FC to win, or back when they were in SL Bradford wanting Leeds to win.

I've wished Wakey good luck a few times on here especially against teams from west of the Pennines.

No love for Saints here but happy with that result. Half time just rescued Saints I think followed by an excellent half time team talk from Powell.

You must be a little bit disappointed though that you didn't get your wish for a 3rd wave of covid and the Cas fans got to enjoy a great day out in the sun. :(

Serious question and without any sarcasm intended. Did you actually watch the live game and the numerous slowmo replays. They clearly showed Grace stepping back into the field of play onto his right foot then leaping up to touch the ball. If you just watched the BBC highlights they miss that out and just show Grace in the air after this event.

To be back in play both feet must be re established and clearly when he leaped his foot was on the line which means he was out of play. If the ball had been over the touch line when he jumped with one foot on the line and hit it back into play would you say that was play on or not.

Where have you found this '2 feet rule?
All I can find in the laws is this:

Jumping player knocks ball back The ball is in touch if a player jumps from touch and while off the ground touches the ball. The ball is not in touch if during flight it crosses the touch line but is knocked back by a player who is off the ground after jumping from the field of play.

I'll have to watch it again, but if his last contact with the ground is in the field of play then it's ok

Weird how we all watched the same match but saw different things.

Here's a quote from ex-ref Ian Smith replying to Jackson Hastings on Twitter::-

"His right foot is the last thing to leave ground and that was in the field of play so he is back in play so try correctly awarded mate"

And I do the same as you but I reckon there are a big percentage of Cas fans who wouldn't wish us well so no need to get all upset with one of ours.
