The link between infections, hospitalisations and deaths has not been broken and that is a fact. The problem however is the more cases the more chances of a new variation.

Really?
I think the data clearly shows it has.

I guess you’re being cocky here, didn’t the recent SO have big crowds. And regarding showing Oz, you decided you’d hide from Covid, you’ve done very little vaccination wise, the saying “you can run but you can’t hide” suits Oz and NZ perfectly at the moment. When these two countries open up it will be carnage numbers wise sadly.

not being cocky was bagging us !
the state of origin was moved to QLD so it could have crowds
people here are not getting vaccinated here thats the problem

The government’s scientific advisors say weakened but not broken unless you know better.

Looking forward to the restrictions being removed and a sense of normality returning. If people choose to keep wearing a mask, fine with me, I will be glad to ditch mine. If we don't open up fully now with the vulnerable vaccinated we never will. Economic recovery is intertwined with health recovery as the more deprived in society have been the most affected by the restrictions. Time to let the younger generations get back to normal life too as their mental health must be awful after 18 months of disrupted education and social life.

I didnt say that they didn't "work." I said they were only beneficial for a short time.
Also, you cant spit through your nose - unless I've missed something - but yet there are numerous people wearing them that don't cover their nose with their mask on making them just as useless as not wearing one - even if they do only work for a limited time.
And those that have been wearing a mask have contracted covid - so that point of yours falls down big time.

Now your just being stupid

That's paper talk, Scientists dealing with the virus have said it as been weakened .on all things I have watch on the T V .The 2 Scientists who were on with the P M on Monday said they would wear mask in certain circumstances .So they are all wrong and the paper is right
