For anyone who likes to enjoy positive news, our academy just won away at Wigan despite missing 2/3 key players, and having 3 tries chalked off.



Bet there is still some negative posts…….. just waiting for someone to say we should be beating them by 50!

Fantastic result that away aswell..i like josh leeson myself not sure how he went today and lacks in size a little but certainly makes up in heart and work rate..think mash is probably a unsung hero to alot of fans hes doing a great job

A great result. Eseh, Windrow and Shaw were three names I noticed missing from the team list.

Some of of these lads need to be signed up before they are picked off ! We need to be quick about it too !

No negatives here, great work by all involved and beating Wigan on their own patch, a team that is always used as the barometer for junior success, is indeed a great result.

Just out of interest because I can’t really think of one, but which juniors have we failed to sign, that have gone on to be a success somewhere else? And by success, I mean a decent super league career. Not 1 game for Hunslet reserves but if we’d have signed him he’d have been the next Wally Lewis!
