We played different against Huddersfield and Hull KR because we had more time at play the ball to shift it out wide, against Cas we where getting tackled as soon as the first man received the ball. Castleford had the luxury of playing on top of us without being given offside where as Wakefield seemed to playing to different rules.
What’s really grating is that Cas weren’t brilliant at all - in fact, it was almost like watching two 2020 Wakefield’s. Had we some actual attacking structure and Ashurst managed to keep hold of the ball we would’ve won that.
Thing the thing that got to me about C as was the time they were taking in the tackle .The ref was letting them get away with it, also been offside at play the ball .But think that was down also to us been very flat at play the ball .Think this is the main problem with our attack
Well whilst we’re moaning about how Cas old manned us ,get ready for Wigan tonight ,cos they wrote the book on stretching the rules to suite .Are we so wet behind the ears as a team that we fall for this every time ,the ball stealing fiasco that went on against us was embarrassing ,we must adapt/change to different teams and situations but we don’t seem to be able .If we don’t win Wigan’s A team tonight there will be a whole plethora of stuff about Wigan did this and Wigan did that and it’s ungentlemanly .But that’s what good teams do they push the boundaries to win and until we learn to do that we will keep being the chumps

Wigan’s A team? They are missing Farrell, Bateman Hastings, and Singleton, Hardaker. (Both suspended) Trinity missing Bill, Kaye, Tanginoa,Westerman and Lynn. possibly Miller, I think Wigan have a better quality squad to overcome the Trinity team missing our first teamers.

I nkow it's going away from our game but, how on earth have the overseas stars at Saints and Warrington escaped selection for the "All Stars". Wire have 5 players in the England Squad but Saints only have 2 and neither of these clubs, despite having big name over seas players have had any players picked for the "All Stars". There certainly seems to have been a fair bit of "horse trading" going on. In fact there is only one player (Hastings) from any of the current top 4 clubs. It's more like "no stars" than "all stars" and they say that its the small clubs holding the sport back !
