Really pleased for Joe Westerman, it's real good to see a player has been selected on current form and not who he plays for!

Moving forward Morgan Knowles is an obvious choice for LF but I firmly believe at this present time Westerman deserves the no 13 shirt. His form has been fantastic, he's everything you want in a loose forward.

Good for the other two aswell.

Well done joe, one other thing I have noticed about you, since being @ Wakey, I have never seen you smile & laugh as much on &
off the field ! Wakefield is a family club & well known for all being welcome & friends, you may leave us one day or soon but, you will not have the feelings of your fellow players & good times together - anywhere else, yes you'll have friends but not the good times &
Laughs. Many a player short & long careers at wakey, will testify to this/these points.
For now I will carry on enjoying watching you, good luck @ England camp !

Seriously though, his form has been outstanding this season, absolutely outstanding and credit to Wane, he has actually taken note, unlike his predecessor, who seemed more interested in "names" regardless of form or the position that they usually play.

Lets hope that our lads stay fit, gain selection in the whittled down squad and get their chance on the big stage.

What about 1979? didn't we have Skerrett, Topliss and Kevin Rayne in the GBteam/squad.??

Three players in the England squad... the last time that happened was 1975... the last time three played was 1932
