I do take that point but he didn't drop it. He threw it.

I'd say he lost control of it whilst trying to put it down.

But it’s true, some people want to offended and then get even more offended when they get pulled up about it, which of course is what they want. The cliches you mention are not cliches they are accurate descriptions for some people some of the time.

All opinions are valid in the sense that everyone has the right to express themselves. However if they are stupid comments in the eyes of someone else then they are fair game. Something that far to many on here don’t get. If you don’t want to be shot at don’t stick your head up. RL is still a sport where not everyone gets a prize and that includes this forum.

You can take pot shots at me all day so long as you accept I might shoot back :ROCKS:

Even players in the round ball game, not usually known for their "sportsman like attitude", usually kick the ball out of play when an opponent is badly injured.

TBF on Farge he wasn’t to know how injured he was.

I’ve no idea but couldn’t the ref have disallowed the try by calling a retrospective stop to play due to an injured player? I don’t know if he can just wondering.

But there was no infringement so no reason to do that.

Otherwise TJ could be tearing down the wing and someone just falls over like they've been shot and the ref stops play.

The football thing as mentioned above happens because they have time to decide.
They don't kick it out when a player goes down and its an open goal. They do it when a player is down and there is nothing on unless you take advantage of the player being down.

Unfortunate for Hull, but play to the whistle.

TBH I didn't think so, and TBH again I don't really care that much.

I find the kicking out of the ball infuriating just get on with it, it won't make the injury any less painful by stopping. Exceptions if there is significant risk like a head injury or swallowed tongue etc
