How about play eaves at 9 with wood and play walker in back row

I like Eaves don’t get me wrong but to mess with any of the spine/pivotal players unnecessarily would be a pretty daft move imo. Walker has been very good at 9 past 2 games so let him crack on I say. Wood was actually more effective from the bench than he was starting early season too.

Straight swap Batch for Ashurst and green coming onto the bench. Eaves is a loan player and should be used when needed currently he’s not needed in my opinion as Walker has been great at starting 9, whilst giving the lad much needed game time.

I really think we would be better off giving one of the young lads a try in front of Chris Green. Eseh or Aydin for example. Both look of vim and vigour.

There is no 'give them a try' in this game. Strongest team plays.
It's too important to throw an unknown in there.
There'll be other games.

Green has be largely underwhelming when he's played and whilst on loan at York, Aydin has put in some good performances.
Depends what you want, a seasoned pro who by his own admission didn't want to leave Hull, or one of our own ready to give it all he's got?

The ones playing with the most pride and passion for the club ,so that rules green out for me ,who only showed glimmers of what he can do against his old club recently , then simply back to going through the motions , which is not what we want at the club.

Saying you didn’t want to leave a club is not the same as not being willing to play for another. I have no idea why on this forum we look for hidden meanings.

The truth is more likely that he was never that good which is why Hull let him go and now he’s a bit past it. Simple answers are always the best, no need to denigrate his integrity.

For me Green was vital to us in 2019 when he and Tangata were the band aids that helped save us. Hasn’t really worked out since, we move on.

So you don’t think Green would get the same lift from playing in a winning team than other players going through the motions ie Fifita has. What makes Green different?

Your spot on there Green and Tangata were a big reason why we survived in 2019 .Coming back in to a team that as won there last 2 games could give Green a lift

Yeah, he played well on loan, I wonder why?
Green has been in and out of the 17 since he signed for us, time to look after our own.
Of course as usual you have all the answers, even if they're wrong.
