I agree. I could easily have given Miller the MOM today. They work really well together.

Last week first half he showed glimpses of ability, his end of sets though were poor. Prior to last week he has shown very little.

He however seems to be improving week in week out which is encouraging.

Very good today.

We said that as we were leaving PT

Could have gone to either of the half’s as both were excellent

If westerman had have played 80 he could have got it

Bill Topou was another candidate

Just a great effort today From everyone

This week n last does make you really wonder
Does our team need the crowd more than a top 6 team does?

We look a different team all of a sudden

The only thing I see different is that there is a crowd there

Thoughts?

I'm sure it's not the only thing but it's a significant thing.
Even just the high ball the Giants fullback dropped. It was a good kick but I reckon he'd have caught that in a quiet stadium with less pressure.

And out forwards just seem to run harder towards the North Stand.

Lino looked extremely useful right from game 1, anyone could see he had all the beans, course, that was never going to shut the doomers down.
He's had a few games where he's made 1 or 2 individual errors, dropped balls, crap kicks and wotnot but those never really disguised what he had in the locker.
I think last weeks win really lit the blue touch paper.
Similarly, Westerman who's looked like our stand out performer from game 1, just seemed to be dropping his levels to that of the rest of the team at the back end of the games we were clearly going to lose, the HKR win was a timely win.
Dunno if he's going to Cas, I would imagine we went the extra mile to try keep him, who wouldn't..

it looks like the Miller Lino partnership is also letting Jowitt come deep in to the line which is allowing an overlap out wide. Max backs up as any any good full back should, as he had a hand in Tupou`s and Kays second try . If his contract is up at the end of the season he needs resigning asp

One thing I would like to see on the pitch is Chris Chester sharing the plaudits with the players, as he`s had too much stick from the keyboard warriors these last couple of months.

Lino floors Giants

Says it all really .
He looked a lot better yesterday than when I saw him earlier in the season.
He had a cracker yesterday although I think he was partnered best by our full back rather than Miller !!!
