Yes I read it.

I read it January when the article was published.

I have no idea whether the matter is closed or not (though I think Mr Minards did say as much on a fan's forum), but I am certain of one thing from the link shared - there has been no news or development since January.

As far as the club is concerned they will be happy they feel it's closed. The investigation isn't into the unexplained wealth order and all the transactions will leave it at that

I think this is where you are confusing people.

The investigation into Mani will probably go on for years so yes you’re right.

However this is a Trinity forum and once the club were cleared of any wrong doing which I believe they were, hence no further investigation then it stopped being of interest to this forum.

I don’t honestly see how we can get dragged back into it in a big way. The council maybe which would not be great but not us.

We legitimately own the ground, we have a legitimate loan from our perspective to pay for it.

So long as it doesn’t impact on the East stand funding then I’m happy.

So am I however the Manni investigation is intrinsically liked to the ground he bought it sold it and we purchased it via a loan through the LA these are what are being investigated not the club, I cannot see anything other than a benefit for the club as they paid an inflated price allegedly however there is little or no chance of that being refunded IMHO. My point is that those transactions are part of the investigation still progressing

So, apart from a 6-month-old news article, what actual evidence is there to support the opening post?

Where did you get the information that the investigation is still progressing? Do you have a link?

No links for this but back in January more property was identified as being linked to him via a convicted murderer who is well known. Anyway see what pans out overtime, Nothing to do with the club but transactions of property sales will be thoroughly looked at that's all.

This was seemingly the conclusion of the NCA case last October against MH

There were then new (undisclosed) allegations investigated by WY police last December

https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/ ... al-3060957

Cannot find anything else in the last 6 months. Would they investigate allegations for more than 6 months without progress?

The idea that the club paid double the value is mostly urban myth. MH bought the ground for a bargain 1.7M from BOI. The club bought the ground and surrounding land for 3M. The NCA confiscated 600k from that deal (presumably the profit he was deemed to have made). The surrounding land is not insignificant and buildings had been demolished to clear it. Assumed combined value 2.4M.

If I bought a house for 240k then found a customer who was desperate to buy it and managed to agree a price of 300k, would I be a criminal?

If you go over my posts its the loan being investigated, secondly if you got 300K for your 240K house great but if the person buying it with 300K of iffy money then its not so great and if it was proven to be laundered money you would probably have to pay it back as it would be the proceeds of crime and in essence you could lose your house.

NCA have concluded the case against Hussain because he rolled over and accepted the UWO it does not mean that the scrutiny is sis finished going over all the deals for property etc. He may not have had any convictions but his cash appears to be criminal proceeds from who? criminals the NCA and Police will still investigate to ascertain the Organised Crime Groups and individuals involved. I assume he rolled over as the heat was on, maybe is off him a bit now but not off the deals.

The only thing the police were interested in was the profit made by Manni of 600,000, Manni paid 2 million ,400 000 thousand for the ground not the 800,000 thousands that was stated by people in the no on here Just another untrue post started to get fans worried about the ground Can you lock it

Wrong the NCA were interested in the purchase of the ground by Manni and its subsequent sale (the whole transactions with alleged proceeds of crime however the NCA didn't pursue this as Manni rolled over and accepted the UWO, the Police are looking into the loan used to purchase the ground two totally separate issues one may 'appear' to be finalised the other as yet has not look at the previous posts.

Nothing to say further so lock it, its not a post against the club.
